Nova festival and here exactly where we’re standing 394 beautiful souls were ripped away from us in the most incomprehensible form of hatred that took away these souls and we’re standing on spil blood and this Blood we want to connect with today because this Blood needs to be Avenged and I want to ask

Jod what was it that that Drew you here why did you feel it necessary to to come here um just as a diaspora Jew I think we need a bear witness there’s so many deniers that this actually happened we need to be here to be able to tell the

Stories to bring their legacy and these beautiful souls back to life and we need to make sure that nobody ever forgets the disgusting acts that happened on the 7th of October and how many innocent lives were taken so Jody thank you how difficult it is to connect with

While now but what you notice is that there’s a hive of activity of visitors coming to this Open Air memorial at the Nova Festival grounds and as you walk in you see the sign of 394 names displayed and behind it the faces that stare at you it’s almost

Impossible to grab a hold of the feelings here but what I’m going to do for you is take you on a short little run of the Nova Festival grounds just to connect with the side itself and to run in their footsteps we run in life and we run in their

Name so running through the Nova Festival grounds there’s such a whirlwind of emotions all over the place you see flags and memorials to those who are killed and your mind just takes you to that place of imagining what it was like hiding in these barrows trying to find any form of

Escape I’m sure you’ve heard many of the stories but to feel it firsthand and to see it as well as meeting some of the family members who lost loved ones is a very powerful reminder to keep this tragedy alive in our hearts not to depress us not to feel

Downtrodden but to say they were the ones taken we are the ones to live in their memory and to honor their memory in any small way you can and that’s today for me I did not plan on coming it was because of Jody and Samantha that

Got me here but one way that I feel I could make my statement is through my love of running and my love of this land and my love of the people I’m Israel Kai and may God avenge their blood may we run in their Footsteps in a memory that will be be

One of good and that really is the Jewish people we sanctify life we glorify life and death is not an end we are on a journey of becoming a stronger more united people in honor of these beautiful people and like I said wherever you go in these Nova Festival

Grounds you just see these makeshift memorials I just cannot imagine what it must be like to be a parent of a child that was taken away at a festival of Peace what a statement to the world here we are on this fragile border of evil and these beautiful

People may their faces shine forever May that smile carry us through these challenging times friends I hope that in some way you can connect with the Nova Festival site if you do make your way to Israel and you’re looking for something to attach to something to really speak to your

Heart however difficult it is I encourage you to come and walk these fields and strangely enough they are so beautiful such a beautiful place but the pain is very tangible and again just try and picture what it was like on that day and as I walk through the fields here

I’m noticing a fellow tour guide I’m sure there are a lot of tour guides that are coming here to connect with the site I’m sure there are many potential visitors can have a word with you yeah um firstly nice to see you wish I would seeing you under different circumstances

I think the last time I saw you tour guides it’s a tough time right now the last time I saw you was at the cotel oh could be yeah um share a few words from someone that is an ambassador for Israel that lights up the love of the land with so many

People in the past what do you feel during these difficult times what’s amazing I I’m not going to dwell on the the destruction and the brutality everyone knows about that but what’s amazing is the people who are coming to help the people who are are coming to be

Together I’m here with a busload of Americans who are here on a solidarity trip just to come and bring a little strength some some emotional support for the soldiers for the hostages families of the hostage the families who have been displaced their refugees within Israel right now and so that’s the

Amazing thing to see what every single person can do is an act of kindness an act of love that’s what we’re seeing now so from fellow tour guides I really do want to encourage any of you if there is a feeling of wanting to come do come your solidarity your support your

Emotional support goes a long way absolutely um and we will see each other in better times and uh please God Amen may be that we see each other again dancing at the Cel amen together with all these beautiful souls that are taken from us thank you so much all the best

Okay guys I’m going to finish off the Run running for those who are no longer with us but running for those that are still being held captive let’s not forget 132 are still being held hostage and we cannot forget them bring them home now a global effort is required

Run Run for Your Soul Run for their soul run for each and every one of them run for those who are left behind Run for the children the mothers the fathers and the grandparents 137 hostages are still held by Kamas run and help raise awareness to the hostages

Them today look behind us today that’s a music area for them we have guitars we’re giving away guitars um with parrot uh coffee machine we’re doing shows in here there’s a store over there full of equipment for them they can have whatever they want if we don’t have what

That’s more incredible for us to experience we’ve just come from the Nova Festival grounds we’ve just gone to ber but here we seeing a living example of who we are as a nation coming together a bit of Hope a little bit of Hope amongst all of the tragedy that you’ve seen so
