Release cut piano is kinda like if you cut off the end of each note resulting in short, almost sometimes glitchy sounding notes. I’ve seen it in some Yoasobi songs, but I don’t know a ton of jpop, so im trying to find more. Heres an example of what one sounds like:

Piano is my favorite instrument so whenever theres one that takes the lead in a fast paced song it makes me happy
