◆I took Japan’s Ferry in heavy snow from Otaru to Niigata.
It was a luxurious travel experience at a reasonable price.

I’d love to move Japan
That’s not heavy snow. It’s actually kind of light.
You must have been thinking 420! 😂
Although the literal interpretation of AC (Air Conditioning) may mean changing the condition (temperature and humidity) of the air to what is comfortable for the individual, AC typically means cooling, previously known as “temperature control by refrigeration”.
Good term, “an array of hangers”! 😀
Freezing sea! Damn cold!
The observatory deck is FROZEN 🥶 CLOSED!!!
A shower IN YOUR ROOM?!? How grand!
It looks like you are the only passenger on the ship.
I feel very disloyal to Solo Travel Japan, but I did enjoy this video.
The room was the size of a pet carrier.
420 not available? 😉
Thank you for this. It gives me a new idea as I plan my late-2022 travel itinerary!
430. Noce.
What kind of camera are you using? The birds look great! 🙂
the food on this ferry is better than many restaurants in my isolated EU country …
7:20 The crane looks like a crane.
can you remove the "kuga's travel youtube' from the right bottom corner – it's distracting
The new YouTube feature "Super Thanks" has been added to my channel!!

love these vids! thank you.
You won't find a very clean ⛴ here in the U.S.
The dinner menu says “Dinner Menu” on it and that is the only English on there, weird.
Thanks!
Your vids are so gentle, calm, silent, nice and showing many new information about Japan. Thank you 🙏
Very, very interesting video for me, well done 👍All the best for the future and stay safe 🙏
a whole new level of zoooooooom cam hehe
May i know what kind of cellphone you're using?…the zoom is amazing
6:53
i was hoping you'd grab the snow and crunch it and you did yeayyyy lol
懐かしい!Otaru is my home town and I was happy to see a video update of the place thank you so much for the great video!
very nice video good job !
one of the best moments in life is traveling peacefully 👍
A freaking sauna??????
Travelled to Niigata from Sapporo in 2018 by air, so good to see this alternative mode of transport. Great city btw.
How do you afford?
I noticed the thermostat for the heating/air conditioning was labeled in Japanese (Katakana, Hiragana, or Kanji). I think I saw a few other things labeled only in Japanese. Do the rooms have any English instructions on how to use these items, or are those available from a crew member?
👍
I live in northern England and about 11 degrees north of Hokkaido but the weather there makes England seem subtropical!
I love this video
Good video.
This looks like the cheapest way to get from Hokkaido to Honshu. Great overall deal! Sashimi for 1350 yen is the obvious choice for food.
Keep posting these videos, Kuga! You are the best!
How was that 2 days? Nice vid though.
I can almost feel the bitter cold with your wintry scenes.
Very good video Kuga! Now we are experiencing "Kuga poet" – The sea is calm as my heart! Thanks for sharing!
Food looks good..but needs. BIRU!!!!!🍺
Where do seagulls lay their eggs?
Have you ever seen a seagulls nest?
Like your videos I watch them a lot
Oh this was just beautiful!! I so love snow and a ferry trip on top of that was pure magic!! You just made my day perfect! Thank you!!
Kuga, what's "WOWZA" in Japanese?
4:30 (furtive image)
Was my glasses ugly, or two women descending the stairs in traditional wearings?
Congrats to her, if it was the case…
I really like that there is either English "subs" if you will on the signs and monuments or English spelling on the monuments there in Japan. I visited Korea a couple of years back and I was really intimidated because I could not figure out how to get around there. I guess you could say it's not as English speaking friendly (?) as there in Japan.
Your videos are awesome, entertaining, and informative. Keep on making them. I'm glad I'm watching the videos on your channel.
If you ever get the chance, go ride the Alaska marine highway. However, it might be quite a shock because you're fair. Are a hell of a lot nicer.
