During the fall foliage season, the surrounding mountains turn yellow and orange, and the 360-degree panoramic view of the autumn foliage from the 280-meter-long, 50-meter-high “star swing (suspension bridge)” is spectacular.

From the viewing spot, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the sea of autumn leaves and the city in the distance. The best time to view the autumn leaves is usually from late November to early December.

In addition to the suspension bridge, the park offers a variety of outdoor activities throughout the year, including climbing facilities and hiking trails.

Access:
From Kisaichi Station on the Keihan Katano Line
Get off at Kisaichi Station on the Keihan Katano Line. Walk along the hiking course (Loop Nature Trail, Kawazori-no-Michi) to Piton’s Hut for about 40 minutes.

From “Hoshida Station” of JR Gakkentoshi Line
Get off at “Hoshida Station” of JR Gakkentoshi Line. It is about a 70-minute walk to enter Hoshida Park via Hoshida Myoken Shrine.

From “Katanoichi Station” of Keihan Katano Line
Take the Keihan Bus No. 20 route, Minamihoshidai circulation, and get off at “Myoken Higashi 3-chome”. 40-minute walk to Hoshino Buranko.

Buses depart from Katanoshi Station every 50 minutes from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and holidays.

From JR “Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit” or “Namba (OCAT)
Take Keihan Bus Direct Q Direct Express Kyoto or Kyoto Katano Namba Line and get off at “Keihan Katanoshi Station”. Take the Keihan Katano Line from Katanoshi Station and get off at Kisaichi Station. Walk along the hiking course (Loop Nature Trail and Kawazoi Path) to Piton’s Hut for about 40 minutes.
