🐻Stan and Rhonda from Over The Hill Adventures take a bike ride on the Sleeping Bear Dunes Heritage Trail, another great @RailstoTrailsConservancy. In this episode, they ride their bikes from Dune Climb parking lot to Glen Arbor Township, a very popular and prestigious vacation spot in Michigan. On the way they make a quick stop in a little town called Glen Haven. They explore the quaint town of Glen Arbor and head back.

The following day, they hike a mile down to the Lake Michigan from their campground in Platte River. They get caught in a thunder storm, but reach the lake edge to see the beauty of Lake Michigan. After their hike, Stan and Rhonda head to Traverse City and have dinner with Captain Loren Newton and his wife Kathy. They get to explore a little bit of the town during a down pour. Stan and Rhonda head back to the campground, but not before they enjoy a banana split at Moomers Homemade Ice Cream.

Come with Stan and Rhonda as they continue up the west coast of Michigan in another great episode of Rally Bound & Beyond.

  1. Climbing the dune is a difficult climb. Not for the faint of heart. Glad you are enjoying your time in Michigan, my home state. Kobe is looking good for 14. Our rescued beagle is dealing with a disc problem also. Michigan, the Great Lakes State. Come back again. Thanks for sharing your stay.

  2. Thanks for sharing more of your NE Michigan trip. You only need to climb 1/2 the Dune to get an amazing view of Glenn lake. Been to Moooomers many times as my brother lives a mile from there, some great ice cream. Our president stopped there for ice cream a couple years back. Looking forward to your next video-God Bless

  3. Well I’m all caught up with your videos from day 1. It’s been so much fun watching. We have 1.5 years left before hubby retires then out on road probably 3/4 time. Can’t wait. Hope to see you out there. Safe travels.

  4. WOW. Very nice video, It’s been years since I had a banana split. Now I want one. Yes Michigan is Very Beautiful. Safe travels. 🙏🙏❤️❤️

  5. Where’s your hat, Rhonda? Definitely transparent! Felt bad for you, but you survived. And we thought work was exciting, Stan – Rhonda tries to keep that excitement going just for you (well, maybe a little bit for us viewers also!). All good!

  6. Thank you guys so much love love love your channel. Appreciate the real and the comedy. Stan, you are my husband’s favorite of all the RV travel channels we watch. Which we watch a lot…. Looking forward to when we go full-time!! Thanks guys – Keep it up!!

  7. You guys, thanks for sharing your life with us— the ups, and downs, the funny moments, and the rain!! 😂 That looked like a tough hike, but you made it!! 🎉

  8. Thanks you two for another great video! Tough to walk in sand but I bet once you were off the sand your legs felt pretty light😅 love your fur babies living the life. Look forward to meeting you both someday❤

  9. What a beautiful video! We see y'all are enjoying the lake water. That part of Michigan is quite beautiful. We want to visit Petosky and collect some fossils for my rock and mineral collection.

Enjoy your sweet pups as long as you can. We lost our sweet kitty Onions in September while traveling in New Mexico. We had him 15 years. His heart just gave out. We cried our eyes out. He was such a sweet kitty. So glad you still have yours and that they travel so well with you. Treasure your moments with them.

We are interested to see your reactions when you get to the Mackinac Bridge. We wanted to go over it when we were kids but mom wasn't having any of it; heights terrified her. So we took the ferry instead. 😢 Maybe next year!

Safe travels and God bless y'all!
