This is a one-shot video of a walk around the Kabukicho area of Shinjuku in November 2023. Shinjuku Kabukicho is one of the most famous downtown areas in Japan. My destination this time was Hanazono Shrine, where the “Torinoichi”, an annual festival held in November, was being held. At Hanazono Shrine’s Torinoichi, rakes were sold to pray for prosperous business, and the area was bustling with many people.
