Embark on the mesmerizing Day 4 of our Japanese adventure, as we continue our stay at the tranquil Yutorelo-an-Annex in Hakone! 🌅🗻

Awaking to the breathtaking foggy morning of Mount Hakone, we set out for an unforgettable day. Our first stop is Togendai Station, the starting point for our journey on the Hakone Ropeway.

As we soar in the gondola, we’re treated to stunning views of Lake Ashi, though the elusive Mount Fuji hides behind today’s foggy veil. Our adventure takes us to Owakudani, a geothermal valley exuding hot sulphur smoke. Amidst the intense aroma, we sample boiled eggs cooked in the water from the volcanic springs at Owakudani-Eki-Shokudo.

Next, we delve into the fascinating Hakone Geomuseum, unraveling the scientific and historical narrative behind the creation of this geothermal wonder. A return gondola ride offers a panoramic spectacle from Sounsan Station back to Togendai.

At Togendai, we indulge in a bit of souvenir shopping before driving to the serene Onshi Public Park on the other side of Lake Ashi. Surrounded by diverse trees and the sweet melody of birds, we bask in the tranquil ambiance.

Our journey takes a scenic turn as we make our way to return the car to Toyota Rent-a-Car in Musashi Kosugi, Kawasaki, Tokyo. En route, we pass Odawara and cruise along the road beside Sagami Bay, witnessing the sky clear up with a stunning view of the ocean.

This marks the conclusion of our incredible 4-day Fuji adventure. Stay tuned for more chapters in our journey, and don’t forget to subscribe, like, and join us for the next leg of our unforgettable Japanese escapade! 🇯🇵🚗🌊
