Wow β¦. Caint wait for this π Iβve heard so much about it. Catch ya in the chat π¬
Nice video, love the stations guide been looking for a video with this thanks Rob!
Great video, very imformative…
I want to go the market , theme park and shopping perfect all available on the pink line β¦ definitely going to check it out . Thanks Rob
It's so amazing to see the expansion of public infrastructure, particularly trains, as it will improve the lives of local people first and foremost in so many ways and its a nice bonus for those of us who repeatedly visit the city. Nice video!
Going on this next week π
Maybe it would be a good idea to do a video about condos who are near the stations of the new pink line. On google maps and AirBnB you still can't see the pink line so it hard to locate condos nearby.
Cool video Rob, I sometimes go to laksi to buy pies
Cool video πππ
So happy they added this. Back in BKK for a few months starting next week. Will definitely check it out. π
Rob, Nice video. The Promonade has really nice architecture and a light & sound water fountain in the center.
Thanks for the tour
That's the Orange Line at the end which will in the first stage go all the way to Thailand Cultural Center and will connect to MRT Blue Line there.
In the US there would be 100 homeless people sleeping on that
Your camera work is great!
1:32 It isnβt typical Thai manners to push and shove at skytrain entrance! Usually we stand in line and in order. ButI saw chaos in every video about pink MRT. Sad!π’
Ps. Pink MRT has its own pet name : NONG NOM YEN = Sis Iced milk. (Thai iced milk always has strawberry mix).
It's officially opened to public?
Great line to access the non usual touristic area.
At Minburi the pink line connects to the orang line Minburi, construction has been completed but not open for service yet.
@ProjectBangkok The public transportation in Thailand is way more advanced compared to living out here in California. The city buses just barely started using QR scanners & Apple Pay about 2 years ago. (Train stations are pay by cash or debit card at kiosk machines) π
Great Video Rob. Keep up the good work
7:05 That is Orange Line which goes along Ramkhamhaeng and Rama IX area. The interesting places would be Rajamankla (Indoor Stadium Hua Mark), Ramkhamhaeng University, and will be connect with MRT Blue Line (Underground) at Thailand Cultural Center station.
The stations and tracks are all completed but they haven't start the signal system and order trains due to legal auction problems with private sectors. We hope that the government could solve this issues and be able to operate this line before 33rd SEA game in 2025 which will happen in Bangkok (Indoor Stadium Hua Mark is the main venue).
7:03 That is the orange line will open in the next 2 years also as the purple line south extension.
Thanks for the informative video Rob. I especially like to learn what's at or near to these new stations that will make me want to travel there. I'm planning to take the chance at a free ride next week (I did it on the Yellow Line and it was really fun). Bill
