Watch this Japan Travel Guide to get a sense of this Japanese Ferry Travel! You’ll see what it’s like to travel from Beppu to Osaka for 12 hours on Japan’s Newest Ferry, the Sunflower Kurenai!

Join us as we travel in the lap of luxury onboard a ferry that’s more like a cruise ship!!

This is only the third time we’ve made a video highlighting a ferry and it was the best yet! This Japanese ferry truly has it all!

We splurged for a Japanese Style room, complete Tatami Mats for sleeping. We also explored the Dinner Buffet and the Breakfast Buffet to experience delicious Japanese Ferry food!

That means you get to see it all! You’ll have to be the judge of whether it’s worth the price for you. We’ll even rate the whole thing using the JebScore to give you a sense for the Ferry Terminal at Beppu, the Ferry food, the (really cool) room we booked, the onboard entertainment, and even the service!

Here’s a link to Paul “Wingin’ It” Lucas’s Shinkansen video Suzanne mentioned:

You’ll also see the other amenities onboard, including the shop, onsen, massaging chairs, and even more!.

  1. I appreciate finally it's covered with voice in English as I never can stand with quiet video with subtitles. But I didn't expect it will be Jeb and Suzanne! Thank you!

  2. Woe woe woe….you failed to play the theme song for the ferry line. "Sunflower…sunflower." Gotta bump that bad boy!

  3. My favorite moment in the video was Jeb’s response to the question at breakfast, “Potatoes?” Looks like an amazing free experience, except for the entertainment.

  4. I could see this being such a beautiful trip in September. Watching the lights of the inland sea go by. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some bullet train, but this does look super nice.

  5. It would be extremely helpful if people from other countries reviewed japanese services from an outsider's perspective.👍

  6. いらっしゃいませ!Welcome to my home country! Though I now live in the US, I appreciate it that someone visits my home country. Thank you & enjoy!

  7. I am curious to know if Solo Travel Japan is onboard as well! If someone orders curry beef with extra large rice, that may be a clue.

  8. This is the sort of content I follow your channel for. I'd probably choose the more Western accommodation, but really enjoyed seeing the Japanese style cabin.

  9. Another great video. Food for thought, when you say, “obviously” about why you’re doing something on your travels, you might make some of us feel less than. Your choices aren’t obvious to some of us, me included, which is why I watch.

  10. If you like this one, i would success you to try overnight ferrys between Finland and Sweden
