A quick review of my train trip from Itō, Shizuoka to Tokyo onboard the Saphir Odoriko sightseeing train in Premium Green class. While I’ve had my share of various shinkansen, there are still tons of different trains in Japan I’d like to experience, and Saphir Odoriko was an easy one to start things off with. And even if I made my journey in Premium Green, trust me, you won’t suffer in a green car either if you’re traveling with a tighter budget. Green cars have the same large windows, on the ceiling as well, only the seats and their layout differs.
