The Pier, First Class Lounge, Hong Kong by Cathay Pacific



Located at Gate 63 in the North West concourse of the Hong Kong International Airport is passenger-inspired First Class Lounge, The Pier. Designed by London-based design studio StudioIlse, The Pier emulates a feeling of home away from home by providing a new level of comfort and relaxation for frequent travellers.

The lounge offers a number of new, exciting features such as Cathay Pacific’s new signature fragrance, foot massages, and stunning materials. Cathay Pacific General Manager (Product) Toby Smith provides a more comprehensive look into the special elements and considerations incorporated into the making of The Pier.

  2. Two Guys Traveling!

    Looks very nice. But, Cathay really needs to have better boarding procedures. We took 2 flights from HKG and the boarding was a mess. Th flights to the US with gate inspection for liquids was not signed. So, I waited in the economy line, while all my friends went thru thru the 1st/Business class line. I was in business class as well, but I was directed to the economy line. Really was not happy. Other passengers told me to go the other line.
    Also, the Wing's lavatories need more service intervals. I went into 2 different rest rooms and the floors were wet. They were wet because there were no towels. Not impressive at all.

    Sacrificing food presentation or any form of F&B sophistication in J over costs and maximum efficiency in planes isn't sustainable. CX really is at the bottom end in the same class. Customers aren't as loyal as you think they are. Wake up CX and do something quick about it.

    I worry since many people don't eat inside air vehicles, & I mean they've eaten inside airport. I strongly invite all people prevent themselves from wasting food!

    我擔心！很多人因為已經在機場進食而浪費飛機餐！本人強烈邀請貴賓室 用家防止食物被浪費！
