Starting our day at Hotel Mystays Fuji Onsen Resort, In the morning I indulge in the soothing hot waters of the onsen with a unique view of Fuji-Q Highland’s rollercoaster (though Mount Fuji remains elusive behind the clouds). After the onsen, a delectable buffet breakfast awaits downstairs, featuring soba, Chinese-style rice porridge, and a refreshing seaweed cocktail.
Our adventure then leads us to Hakone, where the highlight is the incredible Hakone Kowakien Yunessun water park where they have the water park and the Mori no Yu area. We’re opting for family-friendly fun with the water park.
Inside, we immerse ourselves in various pools and baths like the coffee bath, tea bath, sake bath, and even a red wine bath! After a delightful lunch of ramen and Japanese Curry, we venture outdoors for water slides and a magical exploration of the mysterious cave bath.
The day concludes as we drive with a picturesque transition to our next destination, the Yutorelo-an Annex Ryokan. Donning traditional yukatas, we enjoy refreshing green tea in our cozy room, surrounded by the mesmerizing views of Mount Hakone draped in ethereal fogs and clouds.
