Is Pune worth visiting? Manisha and I spent 3 days there, visiting all the sights and trying all the local food. We’ll give you our honest review of Pune and whether it’s worth your time.

Pune, located in the western state of Maharashtra, India, has a rich history, a vibrant cultural scene, and beautiful natural surroundings. The city offers a wide range of activities to explore and enjoy. Some of the best things to do in Pune include visiting the historical Aga Khan Palace, which played a significant role in India’s struggle for independence, exploring the beautiful Shaniwar Wada Palace, and wandering through the charming lanes of the old city.

For nature lovers, a visit to the serene Pashan Lake or the stunning Sinhagad Fort is a must.

Pune is also known for its delicious street food, so make sure to indulge in some local delicacies like vada pav and misal pav. Overall, Pune is a city with a unique blend of history, culture, and nature, making it a must-visit destination for any traveller.

    But i want say to mam you only remembered the taxes chouthai history of Maratha but you should remember other positive thinks about Maratha empire..like women impowerment, respect about all indian cultures and people's, lot of positive thinks…is happened that you can tell on social media…but any way Thanks…

    Thanks for visit to Pune…. If you came next time Please visit the Sinhgad Fort, Pune University, Dams, Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple, Parvati Paytha, Jogeshwari Mata, Chattushrungi Mata Temple etc…. You can see the Whole Pune City from Sinhgadh Fort….. Pune is a very Big City

    Shanivar wada is not a capital place of Maratha Empire its Raigad fort. Later during Peshava Era it is a important place from where Peshava ruled Maratha empire still the capital place was Satara.
