Disney wait times have always been off- even before Genie+
Most ride lines have shorter lines than posted.
There are a few rides that are always as long or longer than the posted wait time such as Jungle Cruise and Na’vi River Journey.
It seems to me they post the same times every day regardless of attendance and you are in a day that is obviously low attendance. Makes me wonder what it will be like on New Years Eve when I made the mistake of booking our one day in Epcot.
No matter how long or short Soarin line is I feel like this is the most torturous line to wait in. You just stand forever and don't move on the hard cement. They should redo the line and do something to make it more entertaining. I dread waiting for this ride, even with a fast pass.
Does Genie show the same wait times as those showing at the ride entrances?
I will be there in two weeks, but I have never had good luck with Ratatouille. The first time it said 90 minutes and it was more like 120. The next it said 55, and it was closer to 90. Fingers crossed!

Not sure I would call most of these lies , Disney can’t make a wait time on the app 8 minutes or something like that. Plus they always need to overestimate so people don’t get mad when it’s more.
The reason they inflate the waits is not to push genie- they did that long before covid. They did it for the psychology of line waiting people would rather wait 30 minutes for something that says 40 than ride something that says 25 minutes and you wait 25 minutes
Why can't they keep both Soaring rides? They have multiple theaters. They can have both rides, like they used to for The Great Movie Ride (depending on which side you ended on).
You know that astronaut meme about where it has been something the whole time… yeah, that.
Disagree that Epcot WS needs more rides. The beauty of this area used to be the great street performers – acrobats in China, living statues in Italy, drummers in Japan (still there). Plus the kidcot stations were more interactive and informative. Much more strolling and family enjoyment and less rushing for rides and swilling overpriced drinks.
Always appreciative of Breedlove's honesty and candor… and the fact we have similar glasses now makes this video even better! As for wait times… again, if they're off by half an hour, just remember to be kind to cast members and enjoy the magic. You cannot put a time limit on magical vacations.

TBH, I understand why Disney would overestimate wait times, especially for the E Ticket rides: The shorter the stated wait time, the more visitors likely to get excited and head over…the more people fill the cue, and the longer the wait time gets. So they essentially either have to overestimate the wait or risk underestimating it.
Honestly, actually following through with the addition of rides in the Germany, Japan, and UK pavilions would be a major HYPE BEEEEEEEAAAAAAAST!!!

I really love Breed Love’s nostalgic storytelling. I visited Disney as a kid in the late 80’s and again in the early 90’s and he triggers my memory so much in the best possible ways!
Breedlove onto something! A video of a full day in the Land! Maybe 3 meals at the 2 restaurants, all 3 attractions, and living with the land tour backstage! I say Breedlove and/or Frybucket need to do it!

Can you please have him do a video featuring the best non-alcoholic drinks for adults in Disney World? There are many reasons why someone might not be able to drink during their vacation and this would be helpful to know.
My suggestion would be to send someone with him who does drink alcohol to taste test and report back.
I think this was an exceptionally lucky day and a relatively slow day. We were there a little over a week ago and the estimates were much more realistic. It was also much busier.

I thought 5 min posted is basically walk on. And from what I thought it was the lowest time that gets posted even if it’s lower. So if that’s true then it’s not a lie
Yay for ride science! Yay for going around the park without backtracking. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I have to choose my steps carefully in theme parks because I can get really tired out with too much back and forth

Really honestly there is a science to it… wait times on the app literally control traffic flow in the parks… honestly watching planning videos like these help give you tips because if you understand the science and can eyeball the queues you have a better concept of how long you will wait..
