the BEST mochi in NARA, JAPAN

I’ve eaten a lot of mochi but none quite like the ones we got in Nara, Japan. Nearby the Nara bowing deer park is a small mochi shop called Nakatanidou. They sell mochi and it’s super cool just watching them knead the dough. They also serve it fresh right after they finish kneading it and it’s so soft and chewy, I’ve never had anything like it before. I’ve eaten mochi plenty of times and never have I ever eaten one that was so stretchy like those pizza commercials. Definitely a must if you’re going to Nara, Japan.
