Soga Station is the closest station to Fukuda Denshi Arena, the stadium of JEF United Ichihara Chiba. It is also a terminal station for four lines of JR East alone: the Sotobo Line, the Uchibo Line, the Keiyo Line, and the Keiyo Rinkai Railway Rinkai Main Line. The last one, the Keiyo Rinkai Line, is a freight line.
