You can go to Futai Dam (commonly known as OKKY) in about 10 minutes from Naeba.
Although it is a minor tourist destination, the view overlooking the mountains surrounding the Futai Adjustment Pond and the Okukiyotsu Power Plant is wonderful.
You can also see the Tashiro Ropeway passing far above your head.
At the OKKY Museum, you can see the power generation turbines that are actually used.
