🎌 In today’s SILENT VLOG… Let’s visit KAMAKURA! 🌊
Do you know Kamakura in Japan?
It is a coastal town in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
In addition to being very easy to access, it is less than 1 hour from Tokyo by train! 😀
I love this place because it has a very cozy mini-town atmosphere, beautiful tourist spots plus easy beach acess! …only good vibes!✨
🙏✨ In my opinion, the highlight of Kamakura is The Great Buddha in Kotoku-in. It’s a huge statue made of bronze, absolutely beautiful!
“The statue commonly known as Kamakura Daibutsu (Great Buddha of Kamakura), a colossal copper image of Amida-butsu (Amitabha Buddha), is the principle image of Kotoku-in. The fact that it sits in the open air makes it unusual amongst large Buddha statues in Japan. The Great Buddha, designated a National Treasure by the Japanese government, is some 11.3 meters tall and weighs around 121 tons.”
(for more detailed information visit the official website: https://www.kotoku-in.jp/en/about.html)
❇️ *Good news, more special content here!* 🙌🏻
From now on I will start collecting stamps from JR train stations (they are called: eki stamps) where I’ll passing by! It will be very fun and I hope you also enjoy it! 😁✌🏻
*Do you know what are japanese eki stamps?*
If doesn’t, let me quickly explain it…
Collecting stamps from train stations in Japan is a popular and enjoyable way to get a free souvenir from places you visit here! It’s a cute memory and 100% free of charge, specially from Japan 🎌
✨⚠️ it’s important to mention that you should bring yourself a notebook or a blank paper because many stations doesn’t give you a special paper to be stamped.

Note: this vlog was recorded in the summer of this year (2023), during my break from publishing content here on the channel. Even though it was a few months ago I decided to publish it now that I’m back and because this content is really cool and Kamakura is a destination worth visiting at any time of the year. I hope you like it and keep following the channel. Thank you for your understanding and support! ✨🙏🏻😘
