As in the previous visit, we had not yet visited Iikaoka Hachimangu Shrine, from which Hachiman-juku takes its name, because we visited at night. The shopping street along Boso Oukan still retains the atmosphere of a town that must have prospered for a long time. It is exciting to imagine what the town must have been like in the Edo period.
