Atomic bombs were dropped to kill civilians, not to destroy military facilities.
Did you know that to end the war, instead of attacking the Japanese military, they decided to kill ordinary Japanese citizens?
Did you know that the United States was considering ethnic cleansing of the Japanese people,if the Japanese government did not surrender?

平和記念資料館と広島原爆ドームへ行ってきました。
団体旅行のお客さんを入れると日本人よりも外国人の方々の方が多いように感じました。
外国人の方は原爆の被害は見ることができても、原爆が一般の日本人を殺すために投下されて事を知ることは無いと思います。
と言うのは、平和記念資料館はとても混雑をしており展示している資料などに目を通す時間は無いと思われます。
それでも原爆抑止論を語る前に広島と長崎の事を知ることで何か心の変化があるかもしれません。
