Excellent recording of the Tokyo streets activities at this time of the year. A lot can be said about the social outfit of Japan in general and the social conditioning of Japanese people in particular. There is two Japan, the one fort the tourists, exciting, luminous, fascinating one may say, and there is the Japan of the ordinary citizens who see their country with very different eyes than the people outside of Japan. Behind the facade of febrile activities in the street, exists a psychological drama not visible of course but very profound. Such visual recording as the one made here reveals many realities which escape foreigners who know very little if nothing at all about Japanese history and economical life. Observe carefully who walks the streets, give an assessment of the average age of the people circulating, some obvious questions will arise. Interesting recording has been made here, as most of the time with Japan explorer. Good work. Almost journalistic in some aspect of it.

There is much more variety in how people are dressing than where I live. From amish-style to formal to casual to all sorts of costumes.
