When visiting Kobe, of course you’ll want to try Kobe Beef. Japanese wagyu is one of the most prized beef in the world. At Kobe Beef Gallery, there’s a gallery where you’ll learn about what exactly the Kobe Beef brand is, how Tajima cattle are raised, and the Japanese beef rating system. At the end of the exhibit, there’s a teppanyaki restaurant where you can enjoy the highest grades of wagyu on an authentic hot plate and watch how it’s expertly cooked by a skilled chef in front of you. 100g set meal is about ¥7,000 ($70 CAD) depending on weight, cut, grade, and brand (over 200 premium wagyu brands). The taste and experience were both excellent. Highly recommend!

  1. Does it cost to enter the gallery? (no eating, just watching the exhibition). And about how long does it takes to visit it?
