there is no swarma in türkiye. shwarma is arabic version of döner and it comes from turkish verb çevirme(chaveerma). So döner is the original one shwarma is a copy of döner

No Shawarma in Turkey is it DÖnER KEBAP mesns Döner=Tutned in Tuekish Kebap=Grilled sonut means Turned & Grilled when you have only Kenap thsn it means Grilled ( Meat or Vegetables ) Shawarma is voming from Arabic Countrys but its calling in Tutkish also Turning Coming from the Word=Cevirmek and the Arabic countrys ude it from Ottoman Turkish Empire time wrong and sa to Döner Kebap – Shawatma thats all 😉 you must try when you can a „Iskender Döner“

"Kebap" is the general name of the process of cooking meat, which is grill on charcoal. So it's not "kebap" nor "shawarma". It's "döner kebap". There are many other kebaps, and "shawarma" is the Arabic version of döner kebap.
