Tokyo to Kyoto by myself! Self guided tour

After my study abroad program was done, I decided to go on a week long trip by myself to Kyoto by myself!
This trip was completed self guided, and I plan on showing you guys exactly what goes in to planning something like with beforehand (spoilers: it takes a lot of prep, and a lot of confidence when you’re there).
For my excursion in Kyoto, I went to the Golden Pavilion (Kinkakuji) and Silver Pavilion, Ryoanji, and Kiyomizudera. Unfortunately the only temple I actually went inside was Kinkakuji.
Most temples in Kyoto (especially the more popular ones) require an fee of around 500 yen. Keep that in mind!
