We headed to KOBE for a day trip. KOBE is a port town, and one of Japan’s biggest. It has more of an international feel than much of Japan as it was one of Japan’s first cities that opened up to the west. It was also hit by a devastating earthquake in 1995, which it took great care to rebuild.
We enjoyed a walk around the PORT and snacking on street food in CHINA TOWN and a vegan bakery. We also visits Japans FIRST mosque & the western style part of the city. The only thing we have to do when we return to Japan one day is visit KOBE’s famous SILVER and GOLD ONSEN.
