Was Going to Japan Solo a Mistake? My First Asian Adventure | Japan Solo Trip

Shinjuku, Japan was my first stop in Asia on a one-way ticket around the world from Canada. Come with me as I explore the streets of Japan eating Unlimited Kobe Beef Grade A5 and drinking Sake for the first time EVER and I couldn’t think of a better place than Japan to experience this!!

I spent 1 week here in the Shinjuku area and there was so much to see and do.
The crowds were so big but moved very well and I was never stuck waiting anywhere. Not even on the Shinjuku Expressway which is a great way to get around and to and from the Narita Airport.

Everyone I met was friendly. There was always someone nearby who spoke English. Many things were labeled in English so getting around and buying things was a breeze for my first in this part of the world.

The food was delicious and made in front of you and the streets were so clean even though it was hard to find a garbage can most of the time.

The nightlife was incredible and could easily do a video just on that. Maybe next time! I’ll be back in Japan again and hopefully longer next time!
