Do-Dodonpa at Fuji-Q Highland in Japan opened as the world’s fastest roller coaster. While it has since lost that record, this S&S compressed air launch coaster has retained the record for the fastest acceleration in the world. What does this launch feel like? Watch to find out!

I wish I could see an off ride of this coaster with out the tunnel. That would be insane
I really want to ride this
I was lucky enough to experience the top hat of both this and XLC (no where near as intense), but because it's the only of the original 2 air launch coasters remaining, I too am devastated they removed the airtime hill. I have not experienced it since the speed increase and loop. This coaster could still be drastically improved with some airtime hills before and one floater speed hill after the loop.. It would turn it from a one trick pony good coaster into an unmissable one.
How long does it take for kingda ka to reach 80mph or 112mph ?
so you’re telling me that this runs 2 trains 8 per. That’s how I operate untamed at canobie
I don't think the Japanese are that impatient compared to us, since their culture is built around respect and patience, so if a line is 3 hours long, they won't care. Plus the organized nature of how the operators do this is the reason why the line can move slow, but I can understand that because of their culture, it's not a bad thing.
I was lucky to get to do Hypersonic too, but this is the only coaster I've EVER been on where I genuinely needed my riding partner to hold my hand.
DoDoDonpa is my favorite coaster out of the 300+ I've been on. The launch is just sublime
I really love the way you make your videos and how you explain the ride experience. I think you’re the best in the coaster community at describing the sensations you feel. I always have such a good image in my mind if what the ride is like after watching your videos. I also think you must be the hardest working person on YouTube. I don’t know of another channel that releases content at the same pace as you.
Thank you for all you do.
i've been on stealth and the launch is hella intense and feels very fast, i had only been on rita before that and its waaaaay faster and more intense. i cant imagine going 0-110+ in even less than that jeez
do do donpa with stand up trains when
I wonder how many people have blacked out on that gigantic 180 degree banked turn
Too bad this one is SBNO now
fast
Formula rossa has the fastest hydraulic 😂😂😂😂
I LOVE aftershock. it's a great inverted boomerang
that thing is like a jet plane
This roller coaster launches so hard that it broke people’s bones so hard on august 12, 2021
At Fuji-Q Highland, did you like all coasters including Mad Mouse?
Would you like to go to Nasu Highland or Rusutsu?
