A memory of the 250 km/h FYRA train that was to have linked Brussels, Antwerp, Rotterdam and Amsterdam every hour throughout the day from 9 December 2012. Unfortunately, Fyra proved something of a fiasco. The train was unreliable in the snow and the service was stopped in January 2013, with the Belgian refusing to let it run in Belgium until all problems were resolved. As yet there is no date set for its reinstatement.
