The Rocky (1976) Filming Locations You’ve Never Seen Before in 2020 is not just another Rocky Philadelphia movie locations tour. Please join me (Tampa Jay) for it is my turn to “Go The Distance”, and bring you a very thorough and heartfelt journey through the streets of Philly. This is the latest update of the Rocky Filming Locations; included, the Rocky dock scene location, where Rocky should of broke Bob’s thumb. Also, the location of where the Rocky “Gonna Fly Now” montage running scene begins. At the end, I take my own Rocky run through Philadelphia. I thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy this video. There is much ahead my friends. #rocky #filminglocations #gothedistance #keeponpunching #philadelphia #creed #inspiration #rockysteps #2020 #boxing

  1. I work at the port in Camden across the river from the old warehouses in the movie. The historic SS United States is tied up directly across from my port since the 90's just North of the bridge and just North of where Rocky was collecting. It was briefly shown in this video. It's not in the movie but deserves a mention The port scenes in Rocky 2 were at the Packer Ave terminal South of the Walt Whitman bridge when Paulie bought Rockys car.

  2. I wonder if Burt Young and Talia Shire are a bit freaked out their tombstones in Philly are a tourist attraction despite them both being alive in 2023? 😅

  3. Hi thank you for filming. Iam going to Philadelphia in August this year. Huge Rocky fan. Places look amazing. Is it a safe are to walk around in or should I go by tour group? Fann from Oxford England. Keep punching!🥊🥊

  4. Amazing! I will never be able to see this in person. I can't believe they left the headstones up. Its great. Thank you.

  5. This guy must be an engineer great tour maybe the best I've seen.

  6. That was truly excellent. Thanks for all your hard work, best wishes from Poland. BTW Thanks for the bird. 😉

  7. Absolutely first class , I have been a Rocky fan all my life and would have loved to have done what you did , thank you so much for sharing, it was pure quality , hopefully Stallone has also seen it 🥊

  8. He didn't get sad filming the scenes with Butkus because of selling his own dog. The reason…. the dog he sold WAS Butkus! The new owner sold Butkus back to him before the movie was made, for a hefty profit. Butkus appears in the movie because they didn't have budget for a "professional dog actor".

  9. I bet the man himself would enjoy watching this, great work Tampa Jay, I really enjoyed this, thanks for your hard work.

  10. You are my favorite filming locations dude on YouTube. You pay attention to the small details like the missing brick or outline of the pet store. 💪 It would be dope to see filming locations archeology…digging up to see past sidewalks, railroads, foundations, etc.
