This is the 13th episode of the Race to Dakar 2020 : Africa Eco rally Race Team Races to Places with Lyndon Poskitt Racing.
We are in stage 8, 451 km from Aidzidine to Tidjikja.
Another early day in the bivouac and the rally is clearly starting to take it´s toll on the competitors. Everybody is tired and today is supposed to be the toughest stage of the rally. And a tough stage it was! The bikes battle their way through the fesh fesh of Mauritania. Greg an Joey, who not only look out for each other, help a fellow rider, and have an epic day, where they came in around midnight, after refusing to take the asphalt after the last waypoint. So many other bikes did this to reach the bivouac, but they just refuse to give up and make it home after an almost 16 hour day on the bike. The whole team survives the day………and Lyndon wins the stage!

Wow!! What a stage!!! Joey was really touched by Nicola, from legend to legend. Tough people, nice hearts, so brave. Congrats Lyndon you got the team
I am not crying, YOU are
Me watching 4th episode: Who the hell is that bald guy.
Me watching 13th episode: YAY! JOEY made it! o/ <3
Excellent coverage, excellent team every one of them, being out in these places is tough for those who do it daily, to be able to relocate the entire setup every day is a mission and to be doing it so well is. The footage is doing it justice, the daily struggle to be able to just start each stage I can't even imagine.
Good luck getting to the end, but looking like from the coverage that you will all make it, then you can sleep for a week, on a nice concrete beach with no sand might be nice eh!
You guys are guiving me so much inspiration! Seeing a group of people this pationate and respectul!

These guys are amazing, love their commitment. Joey got me with the fuel scene too. I had no idea how connected he was with that guys story. Joey had his own challenges, check out this video https://youtu.be/9QGiwp_uaPI of him describing his Dakar experience.
