Sagamiko Illumination held yearly for 6 months every winter since 2008. Usually running from November to April. Tickets can be bought at Sagamiko Resort Pleasure Forest in Sagami City from 4pm to 9pm. Do check out their official site for the time table.
This is a hidden gem and a great day trip from Tokyo! It is a regular park during the day and a magical world at night. With 6 millions colourful LED lights all over the park, you will be brought into another dimension.
Sagamiko Illumination is one of the biggest winter illumination park with many different zones and themes. Its a 40,000㎡ park with Ferris wheel, rainbow lift, flower garden of light, sea of light, tulip path, city of light & music, yi million tree and more.
The rainbow ski lift doesn’t come with any belt to secure your ride. Your legs will be dangling in the air. Hold on tight!
Ticket price for Sagamiko Illumination:
Adult ¥2600 per head ≈ US$24 (with free pass)
They have a cheaper ticket option without free pass to attractions.
During day time it will function as a regular park with various rides. You will need another admission ticket to enter the day park. The counter for the night tickets will only be available closer to Japan time 4pm.
