  1. That's almost double the cost of a matinee in one of those reclining seats at the movie theaters in my part of the U.S.

  2. My Babushka said in Rhode Island during WWII (not sure if it was because we have a lot of navy bases in my state) everyone had to put tape over their headlights and either board up their windows or have really heavy curtains up to block light from leaking. She said even the streetlights and lamps were all turned off as well. Crazy times!

  3. Tantalus was named for the figure from Greek myth from where we get the word "tantalizing". He was cursed to be tempted by water that always withdrew from his lips and fruit from trees that always eluded his grasp. Also, now I know how to steal your car when you're at the beach. The key is going to be somewhere other than the gas-cap….:P

  4. That little car they hired is a death trap. Very unsafe in a collision.

  5. Okay, that salmon and tomato mixture looked incredible, but the whole meal did. And that cave was amazing, but I'm too short to have ever gone down in it so I'd likely have died. Lol. Thanks so much for the Hawaii series, it was great and I love the amount of detail in your videos, happy to have helped support them in a limited capacity! Can't wait to see the new Japan adventures! Thanks again for the fun and the vicarious travel, your videos always cheer me up and I appreciate it a lot.

  6. You described, correctly, the two building styles. One, the residence, being palatial. The other, the barracks, being fortified against attack. Difference between a palace and a castle.

  7. I've got quite a fascination about the big German Battleships. Names like Gneisnau, Tirpitz, Bismarck and Sharnhorst. And the battles with the British (and allied forces) involving those vessels.

  8. I literally visited family in Missouri July 30th -Aug 8th! This came up on my feed and you spoke about the ships. =^_^=

  9. Catching up with your video finally, glad yall had a good time in Hawaii! Thanks for sharing & stay safe!

  10. Hey guys. I've been following you all since 2013. I work as an attorney on overseas projects for several entities from the US and ended up regularly traveling and working in Japan. I LOVED IT. The only problem was that I was never there for more than a month or two at a time. Sometimes it was in Tokyo (different areas of Tokyo), sometimes in Osaka, then Hiroshima. Never there long enough to study or immerse myself in the language. Then, began traveling all over Asia. I got smart and relocated to Hawaii. It made it easier for my work. So, I loved hanging with you guys in familiar places around Japan and other Asian trips. THEN, I was able to hang with y'all even in HAWAII ! ! Familiar haunts. I got the opportunity to experience your impressions of so many locations that I, too love to visit (Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul). Love you guys – you're like neighbors (LOL). Keep 'em comin'.

  11. whos thanks giving does it taste like eric hhe. taiwanese wife is like wtf why dont they know taro is popular in japan

  12. Why would you have trouble pronouncing kamehameha when that's exactly what Goku says when he blasts his enemies?

  13. I was wondering after rewatching this video just now. I doubt you had any chance of climbing those stairs with your back out, but what would you two do if your back went out on the last island?

  14. I was hoping that you would show the same respect to the American soldiers that you did for the Japanese soldiers but nope none given ! I think that it would be best that you just stay in Japan and never come back to America. its Obvious that your turn coat trader's and you relish the thought of shit talking America at every chance so just do us a favor and never ever come back .

  15. It sucks that the hotel and other things weren’t so ideal. Kauai is the only island in the Hawaiian chain that I’ve spent time on. I don’t need to look any further. We are getting ready to move back there and if you ever decide to come back to Kauai. I would gladly be your personal tour guide.
