  1. Pasar Lama was a lot of fun! We really enjoyed Tangerang too. Absolutely no tourists there and just pure local food โค

  2. Abang2 balonnye nice act sih walau sekedar menyapa dengan kata basic ,yg seperti ini yg diperlukan tidak takut untuk mulai berbicara bahasa asing .bisa karna terbiasa๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  3. Tangerang, next serang, my city ๐Ÿ˜… or pandeglang, nice view and lot of nature to visit, merak port with pulau merak kecil (small merak island) to visit by small boat, anyer beach, ujung kulon, and many more ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. I love how you try to integrate Indonesian language whenever you can. "Please" has two meanings. You use "silahkan" when you provide a service. But when you're yhe receiver you can say "tolong". "Tolong martabaknya dua ya, mas. Terimakasih."

That "banged" on the vendor's cart is a variation of "banget" which is more commonly used. It means "very". So "ENAK BANGED/BANGET" means very tasty. I hope this helps. Love the long foodie videos. Keep it up you guys. โค๏ธ

  5. Banten was part of the West Java province, but because its being too large, Banten split up into a new province. They are both native Sundanese people.
Anyway, you'll find that Zuppa Soup in some of Indonesian weddings๐Ÿ˜†

  6. The way you replied that passerby with "makasih, yaa" was surprisingly spot-on Indonesian! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜‚

  7. You two are hilarious! The way you react to the food you try, the comments. Luke eating the kerak telur, "doing good to the body"
Naomi's face after the first bite of the topokki!๐Ÿ˜‚

  8. Sangat jelek sekali…. Jalanan umum malah di jadikan pasar….
Pertanda pemerintah nya gak punya solusi untuk menyariin tempat baru…. Dan terpaksa harus di jalan raya …..๐Ÿ˜ข

  9. I have planning to take you guys to this area before, when you guys just arrived jakarta for the first time. Glad you are there๐Ÿ˜‚

  10. You know, you really need to try adding the word "ya" behind more Indonesian words. It's originally short version of "iya" or "yes" in Indonesian, but it's somehow multipurpose. You can use it to substitute "isn't it?", "right" or "okay" too. In fact, it's one of the habbit that many bule picked up while they're living here.

    Some examples:
    – For statements: "It's hot, isn't it?" – > "Panas, ya?"
    – For requests: "Don't forget to subscribe, okay" – > "Jangan lupa subscribe, ya"
    – For orders: "One black coffee, please" – > "Kopi hitam/kopi tubruk satu, ya"
    – For confirmations : "It's 5.000 (rupiah), right?" – > "Ini lima ribu, ya?"
    And many more.
Some bule even start to mix it, like using English with "ya" at the end. Such as "It's hot, ya"
Try it, and observe some locals when speaking. You will find that they use it quite often. Keep healthy and cheers. ๐Ÿ˜

  11. OMG….! This is the first time I saw a YouTuber from Ireland, usually most YouTubers in Indonesia come from England, America, Germany,Dutch France.Norway, Australia, Czechoslovakia, Ukraine, Russia, South Korea, Japan, and many more YouTubers in Indonesia,But YouTuber Ireland has only ever seen it in Indonesia, which is truly extraordinary

  12. Kerak Telor is a traditional culinary from Betawi,a perfectly mixture ingredients of white dried sticky rice, perfectly fried onion, dried small salted shrimp, dried coconut sprinkling, chicken or duck Egg (Prefered Duck Egg for more savory taste)…it is so delicious.Thank you for coming to Pasar Lama…Bravo Luke and Naomi…Bravo Indonesia
