Enryaku-ji Temple, a World Heritage Site, is the head temple of the Tendai sect of Buddhism and consists of about 100 halls and grounds covering the entire area of Mount Hiei, which straddles Kyoto and Shiga.
The entire temple grounds and the surrounding driveway are planted with approximately 2,000 maple trees, making the temple famous for its autumn foliage.
Enjoy the beautifully colored autumn leaves of Enryaku-ji Temple.

Note:
Since Enryaku-ji Temple is one of the World Heritage Sites “Cultural Properties of Ancient Kyoto,” I introduced Enryaku-ji Temple in the video title as the autumn foliage in Kyoto.
However, the actual location of the temple is in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, and I visited there by the cable car from Sakamoto in Otsu City. (FYI, Sakamoto is famous for its Ano-shu masonry, and has a lovely historic townscape).
