航空自衛隊の教育の中心を担う浜松基地の航空祭では、例年教官自らがT-4によるデモフライトを披露します。その中でもビッグフォーメーションと呼ばれる大編隊飛行は圧巻で、浜松基地の見どころとなっています。
At the air festival held at Hamamatsu Air Base, which plays a central role in the education of the Air Self-Defense Force, instructors themselves perform demonstration flights using the T-4 every year. Among them, the large formation flight called “Big Formation” is spectacular and is a highlight of Hamamatsu Base.
Other features unique to Hamamatsu Base include a flight of the E-767 air surveillance aircraft, a rescue display of the UH-60J rescue helicopter and the U-125A search and rescue aircraft, maneuver flights by the F-2 and F-4 fighter jets, and an air festival. At the end, there is a Blue Impulse and a lot of content.
Not only can you expect to see aircraft flying in from other bases, but you can also see ground displays of aircraft and equipment.
