This video feels like returning to my inner child. I used to watch your videos back when you lived in Bucheon and it made me want to move to Korea one day. 13 or so years later, I now live in Seoul and work in a lovely school. So much of the things you taught and talked about in your videos I carry with me now. I'd love to visit bucheon at some point
Honestly I also got emotional watching this video. I started watching your videos when you were still living in Bucheon, so this was now like a small circle moment. I’m currently in Korea for an exchange semester and I’ll definitely try to go to the 순두부찌개 restaurant and the park when I have time!
What do you do for work? If you don't mind me asking. I'm debating on moving to SK to live with my husband, so my main concern is finding a job.
I haven't been on the channel in awhile but I just wanted to come on here and say that I remember watching you back in 2014-2015 for the first time in highschool and thinking 'wow, I want to go do that stuff too.' So here I am almost a decade later living in Japan. Thank you for inspiring me to get out there and explore ❤

Your time in Bucheon as an English teacher inspired me to teach in Korea. Teaching abroad was one of the best decisions I made as young adult, so thank you for all of those videos way back in the day!
Thank you for the wonderful video, Martina! I watched it with my fussy baby, who calmed down and seemed very interested (she doesn't usually care what's on the screen 😂). It made me excited to learn about different foods and cultures with her when she's older. For now, I'm glad we can just cuddle up on the couch and enjoy your content together.

I want to give you the biggest, gentlest, EDS hug! You are such an amazing human and I’m so happy you seem to be doing well health wise and mentally. You have such a beautiful heart and even with everything that happened you continue to find joy in everything, no matter how small they may seem.
You might have heard this from others, but because of you, I learned about EDS and found out I’ve been living with it my entire life. You gave me the answer to the mysteries of my health problems and I’m forever grateful for that.
Also, my mom enjoyed your videos so much back in the day and helped her understand and enjoy kpop and Korean culture. She passed away in 2019 but because of you she had an affinity for gdragon and as said, “batoost” I want to thank you for bringing us closer when we watched your videos together.

Longtime lurker since the early days in Bucheon! Also a fellow zebra and having a bad pain day after arriving home from a weekend trip. Loved what you said about making new memories, made me a little emotional actually 💕 the maturity with which you handle hard things in life is truly inspiring. Thanks for repping the h-EDS community with such creativity and positivity. Days can be hard, we have ups and downs, but we can choose to find the positive in small things to help us get through! 🐷

martina i'm so proud of you for adventuring back to bucheon! i watched eyk all through high school (2011 and beyond…) and your videos brought me comfort then and continue to bring me comfort now. you have grown so much as a person, and not letting the negative stop you from reclaiming your happy memories is so wonderful to see. i hope you had the best time in korea ♥
