This time, we took a ride on the Utsunomiya Light Line, a next-generation tramcar, a popular train that began operation in 2023 after 75 years of service.
The cars use the latest technology and are very comfortable to ride. The scenery from the train windows is also excellent, so why not take the train at least once?
We also did a little sightseeing in Utsunomiya and enjoyed the Futaarasan Shrine and gyoza (Chinese dumplings). It is only 52 minutes away from Tokyo, so it is a great weekend day trip!
