Gwangmyeong Cave is a tourist attraction located in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do South Korea.
The cave was used when Korea was under Japanese rule from 1910 to 1945 for mining purposes and was staffed by forced laborers.
Gwangmyeong Cave was re-opened in 2011 for tourism purposes and now has historical exhibits. In this cave visitors can enjoy the LED light shows, sculptures, aquariums, children’s amusements, underground winery etc. while walking this amazing “Gwangmyeong Cave”. It takes more than an hour to walk inside the cave. But it’s really worth visiting this hidden tourist attraction.
