This is a side of Modern Jakarta that doesn’t get frequently covered, unlike SCBD, which is a largely business district of Jakarta city. Jakarta is a blend of both modern and traditional when it comes to being a mega city in South East Asia. PIK is an area of North Jakarta that blends the old with the new and it’s a very unique place to explore for a day.

    PIK is beautiful, and yeah it's a shame there aren't many sidewalks, it would be nice if there were more. But I think only a few Indonesians use it, like in the SCBD area there has good sidewalks but people still use cars and scooters. Maybe it's because it's hot so people don't want to walk 😅 and I think most Indonesians or Asians are "afraid" of the sun, because Asian people prefer white skin ( I don't mean to be racist )🙏 but like from Korea there are lots of beauty products to whiten the skin. In contrast to you guys, white people, especially Americans 😅 you know what l mean 😂😂

    Try to visit the Thousand islands / Kepulauan Seribu at the northern Jakaarta. The Thousands Islands actually are Part of Jakarta, consist of around 100 islands with many beatiful beach views.

    Di Indonesia ada +/-6 agama = Islam ,Katolik ,Protestan ,Hindu ,Budha,Konghucu,kepercayaan ,+/- 1300 suku etnic,+/- 700 bahasa etnic yang berbeda ,semua mendapat hak yang sama ,sama dapat hari libur nasional dalam hari hari istimewa agamanya, dan punya lembaga resmi di pemerintahan ,hak sama dalam hukum maupun berpolitik, sebab pedoman negara Bhinneka Tunggal Ika .

    PiK 1,2,3.. is looklike new different city from jkt, and i still in area north of Jkt, also U can Xplore "regata' are.. and ancol…i think at that time U not Xplore all about Ancol…Ancol is very bigg.. many Cool ship, beach, putri duyung, mall ancol, circuit International A1, traditional market vestifal, etc… And from ancol you can go to pulau pari, pulau pramuka, etc..and its beautiful n cool
