Don Salvador Benedicto is considered as a young municipality in the island of Negros. For me it is highly recommended to come here while it is still not so commercialized as the atmosphere is really great for those who appreciate nature and sceneries. Although there are resorts around and new resorts are coming, it is still far from very much commercial like Tagaytay. The roads of Negros Occidental Eco Tourism Highway was fantastic and the zigzag winding roads are also a challenge. Sights to see – The Lion Statue, view of the mini rice terraces, the Malatan-Og Falls and the mini chocolate hills of Negros. In the video we made a wrong turn and went to the route instead going to San Carlos City so we did not got a nice view of the Chocolate hills but still saw one. One of the dream rides done again! It was a 2 hour drive from Bacolod City. The video starts from Murcia and up to the vicinity of San Carlos City. You can also see a part of Mount Canlaon and Mount Mandalagan Range.
