  1. You had me at low-carb udon, and I'm saying this as a person who prefers soba over udon. I can see it now (when I'm eventually allowed to visit Tokyo again without having to self-quarantine on returning to Nagasaki) – I could easily enjoy a 2.5x serving of the low-carb udon (with lots of protein and veggies on the side) for lunch, head back to my hotel room, do a complete resistance band workout for over an hour, head back out and try a different udon at the restaurant.

Mash seems like a pretty cool guy. If only my students could be as confident as the two of you in speaking English… (Well, some of them already are, but just in general…)

  2. I have to try Tsuru Ton Tan the next time I’m in Japan, looks delicious!

Found this great channel thanks to Abroad in Japan’s new video! Keep up the great work Sarah!

  3. It's funny, Tsuru Ton Tan and Marugame Udon are always within walking distance from each other both in Waikiki and Shibuya! Which one you prefer?

  4. Those udon noodles are huge. I would have ordered the tempura udon also.

  5. Tsuru Ton Tan they have 1 in Waikiki and we will visit them next year February 2022
Sarah what is that mean by increasing 2.5 or 1.5 ?
