Hey guys! This is Sarah, a Japanese “salary woman” living and working in Tokyo.

I stayed at a Japanese traditional house (“Kominka”) in Izu peninsula!
This is the third episode of my Izu & Atami travelling series!

  1. The intro legit scared me lol . I was not expecting that. The attic with the movie screen was really cool. The mixing of classic and modern furniture is neat.

  2. The roof in similar to what we have in the Philippines. They are made of rice straws or coconut leaves.

  3. Reasonable price if you go as a large group, or a one of night to pretend to live in a traditional house as a treat of course.

  4. That movie theater area looks so comfy. I cant imagine myself just chilling there while it's raining outside.

  5. 9:05 That's Ii Naomasa's "tameshi gusoku" (war armor), Ieyasu Tokugawa's son-in-law from Fujiwara clan and one of Tokugawa's important general in the battle of Sekigahara.

  6. i absolutely love this kind of stuff 😍 really great atmosphere~ i hope you can do more videos about more traditional stuff in the future 🙏 such a great video! thanks for all the effort and time you put into these c:

  7. Your TV and player did not work because you did not turn them on by inserting the wire into the outlet.
