This was my very first car camping adventure with a Tesla, and I couldn’t be more excited to share the experience with all of you.
I’ve been yearning for an opportunity to take a Tesla on a trip, and that dream finally became a reality. I rented a Tesla Model 3 for 24 hours, and my destination was Lake Kawaguchi-ko. My plan? To camp out inside the Tesla and return the next morning.
The experience turned out even better than I had hoped. Sleeping inside the car was surprisingly comfortable, and it eliminated any concerns about the outside temperature. But that’s not all – the car itself provided a cool entertainment, and the sound system was absolutely perfect.
I pushed the Tesla to its limits, and the journey from Tokyo to Gotemba, via the expressway, took just 2.5 hours. Gotemba is the location of the only Tesla supercharger around Mt. Fuji, making it a must-visit destination for any Tesla enthusiast.
The combination of the cool car, the cool weather, and the breathtaking scenery made this trip truly perfect.
