This autumn was spent in the northern midwest, where the fall colors are vibrant, the evening fires are extra cozy, and paddling into the wilderness with Akela is absolutely incredible.
Thanks for watching everyone!

oh god I love your videos SO MUCH! thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I live in Sao Paulo (Brazil), such a big, noisy city… it's always refreshing to watch you 🌿
Such an awesome video; all the fall feels, sweet Akela, eagles, beautiful music. I so love your work
I've been enjoying your videography throughout this past year. Your videos are so well thought out and calming. Love it! Thanks for sharing.
Ya think it’s time for a little flannel shirt repair? 😂😂
Cool! Thanks.
You saw a loon!! Yayy! love your videos Linnea ❤
Thanks for taking me on a trip I’ll never get to take. Your knowledge of the environment adds so much to the experience. I admire your relationship with Akela. Your photography is aces!
What’s your fetish with the Loons?
They are incredible swimmers.
Not many acknowledge the loon.
Good video though
You really should try a kayak paddle in the canoe. It’s way better in my opinion. I have a 12ft solo oldtown. I don’t like the single paddle, to much time wasted in the crossovers.
It took me a minute to realize Cris was hiking in. That was cool. I’d be torn because I love the water as much as the trail.
Winter is fixing to set in here in Nebraska, so keep them coming. We’re all living vicariously thru your fun.
We have a Wenona as well, she's like a part of the family. It's worth learning the J-stroke (I finally learned a few years ago) so you can paddle for longer stretches on just one side. I miss hearing loon call, I'm happy you were able to get out there before the winter.
It’s so beautiful to see how much Akela loves you. She is definitely living her best life. Thanks for the lovely video. Stay safe.
Geat footage of the Eagles. Actually your video was amazing 😊
Who does the song starting at 2339…all we really have is time? Who does this? Its beautiful and i would like to listen to the whole song. Thanks
I am mesmerized and so envious of your wonderful experiences! Your ability to capture the beauty of where you are is incredible!❤😮
Love the song at 28.34 as well…hell i love all your song choices. You're very talented in all you do!😊
Love your so called bloopers at the end…hilarious 😅
Love the outtakes!
My favorite video thus far!!!! Just when I didn’t think I could fall more in love with Akela…. Bam…. I was wrong…. Beautiful girl!
You always make great videos, but this one is extra special! You have such an awesome gift for capturing beauty. You are so blessed (as you know and are grateful for)! A great love, an adventurous brother and 2 extra wonderful canines. And nature. Always nature. ❤
Oh, Linnea. I could simply apply the adjective 'stunning' to every.single.one of your vlogs. Your videography is breathtaking, & I love it all. I find myself smiling through it all as I watch & feel immense #gratitude to you for your gifts & of course your hard work, which stems from your ability to do self-care & work at your self-determined own pace.👏🏼
The autumn colors were beautiful, the sound of the rain, the two bald eagles, & you were granted your wish–the beautiful loons that swam & danced for you.
I love loons. Several years ago, I was fortunate enough to be part of a soulful camping trip via canoes & kayaks with nine other women over a period of seven days. We established a base camp, then took canoe and kayak trips to other areas of the lake area we were at daily. This was near the Canadian border in Maine.
The loons called goodnight to us each evening and good morning to us each dawn. It was so lovely to hear them, but one day we actually quietly watched in awe as a mother loon led her babies out for an early morning swim & feeding time.
It was downright magical; they passed by as we were doing our early morning yoga on the beach where we'd set up base camp. I'll never forget that adventure. Or the loons. They were a symbol of everything magical about that trip, much like all your videos are also incredibly magical.
You always thank us for watching (and treat us to funny outtakes), but I want to thank you for your channel, which always brings me so much joy.
Thank you, dear Linnea. Much love to You, Chris, Noah, Akela, & Kobuk.🫠🙌🏼💛
On Golden Pond "The Loons Norman!!" 🙂
