   Yeah, don’t ever fly Ryanair, they are awful. If you want a budget airline go with EasyJet.

   Ahhh. I am sorry that your UK trip ended on such a bad note. RyanAir is notorious though! A terrible reputation!

   So pleased you guys finally got to Venice to continue your journey. I hope you are not planning to fly Ryanair any time soon? my last (as in final) Ryanair experience was a flight from Bari back to UK – I’ll just say it took me 19 hours! So sorry you had to experience this sh*t

    I have no sympathy for your trials and tribulations with airlines at the end (as for that nutter with the airBnB…), you KNEW Ryanair were a bunch of penny-pinching (see you next tuesday s) yet you still booked with them. You get what you pay for
    Then you expected someone who was fed up covering for all their ways to go out of their way to try to placate you for having trials with a rival company.
    "But it its a service industry " yes it is, does that mean you should go against your own company that pays your wages so you can put foof on the table and help out a rival one ?

    Even the airport are trying to deep six Ryanair yet people continue to book with them because they are (on the surface) cheap.
    How many wee airlines have had to 'go to the wall' because of Ryanair and their ilk and people who use them?

    when I was little (I'm now 67) the local children's playground permanently had an old man in a little hut employed to keep an eye on what the kids got up to. He regularly came out to shout at kids abusing the equipment. He was also there to stop 'big' kids from using the equipment. He'd have had a heart attack at what you two got up to.

    I am so sad you had that experience with the airline. Ryanair has bad reputation in UK with their lack of customer care and unneccesary burocracy. It's probably no big deal to you but Ryanair is not Britsh it is Irish. Every now and then they add bright idea to boost their budget prices such as charging for hand held cabin luggage. I have a relative in Ireland who is fighting a plan to build new runway right next to the garden of his country cottage. Personally if at all possible I would avoid them at all costs; frequently getting negative press over here.

    Americans tend to have an easier life than many in Europe so are somewhat spoilt. and cry to mom and dad if things go wrong whereas Europeans deal with it …

    Don't think we say real chips, just chips. As for Real Ale, it's to differentiate between what is usually brewed by local micro breweries as opposed to the big companies.
