In summer 2013 I visited Tokyo, the capital of Japan. Summers in Tokyo are hot and humid. The moist air impedes realising the immense size of Tokyo from the top of the skyscrapers. The Greater Tokyo Area is the largest metropolitan area in the world. Over 30 million people live in this gigantic metropolis. Streets and trains can easily get crowded, but the Japanese discipline makes the city still enjoyable. Tokyo itself is a superlative and it’s also home to some record-breaking structures. There is the tallest city hall, the 797 ft tall Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and the Tokyo Skytree, the tallest tower in the world with a height of 2080 ft. There are endless opportunities to go shopping, lots of parks, temples and shrines to relax and if you’re seeking more thrill you can visit Tokyo Disneyland, Disneysea or the Tokyo Dome City Attractions with the Thunder Dolphin coaster that runs on and through a building! .Tokyo offers something for anybody.
