Located at the foot of one of those sacred mountains, Mt. Togakushi, Togakushi Shrine consists of five shrines: Okusha, Chusha, Hokosha, Kuzuryusha, and Hinomikosha.
This is the Okusha of Togakushi Shrine, renowned for its cedar-lined path with cedar trees that are over 400 years old.
Visiting during weekdays, especially in the early morning, is recommended as the recreational season can get very crowded. You’ll likely be able to enjoy the mystical atmosphere.
