We walked the entire way up the mountain where the Inari shrine was in Kyoto, Japan. It took us 4 hours total to go up and then get all the way back down. We started a bit later in the day and did not realize how late it got on us while we were exploring the mountain. A gorgeous place and worth going all the way to the top. Bring tennis shoes, tshirt and maybe even some shorts. You are going to walk, climb and probably trip over things all the way up like I did. It was about 60 flights of stairs, or at least that is what my watch told me based on my stride/stair climbing abilities.
A must visit if you happen to be in Kyoto. Try to go early to avoid the huge crowds.

It is a cape or bib so don't worry 👍🏻 and it's meant to be red to expel demons and illnesses.
i thought inari was the rice god who's messengers are the kitsune
inari is the rice god and kitsune means fox but it means both the spiritual foxes and the normal ones
definitely not how you wash your hands but good effort for Matt trying.
awesome video! brings back happy memories when i was there
Inari is the name of the God or "Kami". The foxes are "Kitsune".
