The Sony a6500 is an update to the a6300, adding Steadyshot Inside (IBIS) and touchscreen autofocus. I tried using these new features on the Zhiyun Z1 Crane 3-axis gimbal to see if they improve performance and usability.

Will it make any difference if youre using an OSS lens without steadyshot?
Omg I really need a gimbal!! Wow it records videos super neat and steady!!!! All my videos look as if there's earthquake lolol. 😂😂😂 I wish I could afford it tho. 🙁 I became so poor since last Christmas.😢

I am struggling with Sonys touch to focus option on 120fps. It always changes the mode of my lens to manual. Does anyone have the same problem with the Alpha 6500?

That autofocus is still pretty decent.. though .def need a screen monitor on a small rig cage. The feelworld 5inch screen is what I use and does well for me.
So do you mainly shoot blind or have a monitor that works on the gimbal?
When steadyshot is on, is that a setting on the camera or the gimbal? Sorry for the stupid question.
