I don't mean to sound disrespectful — but I would have a difficult time eating some of these foods. I would still try to eat it if it was offered to me — but it would be difficult. I love Japanese vegetables! Please make a video about vegetables some time. I would like to know more about things like yamaimo. ^_^ thank you very much

We in Malaysia have something almost similar to Funazushi. It's called "Ikan Pekasam" (literally mean's "fermented fish"). But instead of using boiled rice like the Funazushi, it use a rice that was browned over fire. This browned rice was pounded and then mix with salt before it was mixed with the fish.
im so glad i dicovered this channel!! love it
I used this video as a source of information on odorigui for my Japanese class. Thank you~
Yuka, you are so cute!
Very interesting… great bizarre foods that looks really interesting 8)
I love the smell of natto. The slime doesn't bother me, but I can't stand the taste of it. My mom loved natto. She used to whip it into a white lather with her chopsticks!
Please be aware that there is a risk of parasites in raw fish. I got the worst diarrhea ever after eating cooked fish and it definitely wasn't food poisoning.
